4th – 7th July 2024 //
44 participants from eight German federal states, three guests from Poland and of course Tamayose Hidemi Sensei (10th Dan) with his wife Masako-san from Okinawa traveled to Nordhausen in Thuringia to spend four days intensively learning the intricacies of the Ryūkyū Kobudō Tesshinkan.
In addition to the content from the examination programs, two new forms were also taught: Kongo-no-Kun and Yara-Guwa-no-Tunfā.
Also, Karate – Shōrin-Ryū Tesshinkan and Shōtōkan – was practiced.
The evening meetings offered many opportunities for stimulating discussions. A particular highlight was the visit to an air raid shelter from the Second World War directly below the entrance area to the sports hall.
This Gasshuku again conveyed concentrated knowledge and many suggestions. The atmosphere was harmonious and all participants have already saved the date for next year: 24th-27th. July 2025 – of course again with Tamayose Hidemi Sensei, Frank Pelny and Sebastian Edelmann Renshi and David Dekreon Sensei.
