Tamayose Tetsushi Kaichō – „A Young Master“
Tamayose Tetsushi was born on April 30, 1986 in Okinawa, the third child and only son of Tamayose Hidemi and Masako. He grew up in Ōzato / Nanjo City and works as an archaeologist on Okinawa.
As a founding member of the “Ryūkyū Kobudō Tesshinkan Kyō Kai”, he has been closely linked to the Tesshinkan Association from the beginning (May 22, 1999).
Even as a young master, he supported his father and taught at seminars in Canada and Germany.
Tamayose Tetsushi Sensei is actively involved as a referee and organizer in many world tournaments on Okinawa and is now one of Okinawa’s leading Kobudō referees, including in the “Okinawa Dentō Karate Shinkō Kai”. He is also a member of the board of the “Okinawa Ken Kobudō Renmei”.
Tamayose Tetsushi achieved 6th Dan in the Ryūkyū Kobudō and the title of Renshi on November 20, 2022. Also in 2022 he achieved 6th Dan in the Ryukyu Shōrin-Ryū Karate-Dō Tesshinkan.
On May 22, 2024, Tamayose Tetsushi Sensei received the presidency (kaichō) of the “Ryukyu Kobudō Tesshinkan Kyō Kai” association from his father and master Tamayose Hidemi.
