Ryûkyû Kobudô Tesshinkan Seminar in Minsk/Belarus

26th-27th of September was the 10th seminar on Ryûkyû Kobudô Tesshinkan in Belarus. The seminar was headed by Sergey and Igor Mirutenko. The seminar was attended by 82 students of the Karate and Kobudô Belarusian branch. In the seminar program were studied: techniques and Kata with Nunchaku, Sai and Tunfa.

Tesshinkan Europe-Gasshuku 2015

From July 17th until 19th, the Tesshinkan community met again in Nordhausen to participate in the annual Europe Gasshuku. In the Ukrainian city of Rovno the 1st internatinal Ryûkyû Kobudô Tesshinkan seminar under the guidance of the chairman of the International Traditional Martial Arts League, Sensei Sergey Mirutenko (8th Dan Karate, 3rd Dan Kobudô, World and European champion), took place from 24th of April to 26th of April in 2015.

A total of 47 karateka, spanning a range from 8th Kyû to 5th Dan, gathered to the Gôjû-Ryû school of president Anatoly Girak (5th Dan Fudokan Karate, 5th Dan Gôjû-Ryû Karate).

Competition in Anzhero-Sudzhensk (Russia)

Last Sunday, on the 26th of April, there were urban championships of WKF Karate and Kobudo Tesshinkan among young people in the sport school “Sibiryak”.

There were guests from Tomsk apart from Boris Grigorievs students participating in the competition. Recently Mr. Grigorievs students have been to the seminar, where they learnt Karate techniques. And then it was the chance for them to show their knowledge during the competition against sportsmen from Tomsk. There were 5 different age groups in the Karate Kata competition: 6-7, 7-8, 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13 years old. There were two rounds and the sportsmens performances were judged in the ten-point system.

15 years Ryûkyû Kobudô Tesshinkan Kyô Kai – Tesshinkan World Gasshuku 2014

On the 22nd of May in 1999 Tamayose Hidemi Sensei founded the organisation “Ryûkyû Kobudô Tesshinkan Kyô Kai”. On occasion of this event he had previously asked the team around Frank Pelny to host the official festivities of our organisation in Nordhausen (GER). The people from Nordhausen have put a lot of effort in staging such an event – and succeeded. For this reason nearly 50 enthusiasts from Belarus, Russia, the Czech Republic, Japan and Germany have met in Nordhausen from 24th to 27th of July in order to train Ryûkyû Kobudô and Shôrin-Ryû Karate together under the watchful eyes of Tamayose Sensei (9th Dan). Sensei was supported by his son, Tamayose Tetsushi Sensei, Frank Pelny, Hagen Walter and other Senpai.
