Tesshinkan-Training in British Columbia (CA)

From August 7th until 17th Frank Pelny, the technical director of Tesshinkan Europe, visited the Qualicum Martial Arts Dôjô of Rainer Todsen in Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island (CA). Both masters have trained together for several hours everyday in order to improve their skills in Ryûkyû Kobudô Tesshinkan.

On Sunday, 11th of August, they trained together with members of the Salt Spring Island Karate Club of Pat Byron, of the Toshinkan Martial Arts Dôjô of Sean (Mac) Newton, of the Shôtôkan Dôjô of Holly Mølgaard, of the Qualicum Martial Arts Dôjô of Rainer Todsen and of course with other European guests.

Another training took place on Friday, 16th of August, at the Canadian Martial Arts Academy of Frank Clayton in Powell River.

Of course there was also a share of leisure time which was gladly spent sight-seeing, swimming and golfing amongst other activities.

From June 6th to 8th they have decided to meet again at the Natsu-Gasshuku to explore Tesshinkan even deeper and to cultivate friendships.
