21st International Seminar in Yaroslavl

The 21st International Karate-do Fudokan and Ryukyu Kobudo Tesshinkan annual seminar was held in Yaroslavl (Russia) from March 8-10, 2019 under the guidance of the chairman of the ITMAL – Sergei Mirutenko (9th Dan, Hanshi) and Igor Mirutenko (6th Dan, Renshi). Organizers were: Sokolov Evgeny, Kazankin Andrey.

60 athletes and instructors (20 black belts) from Minsk, Moscow, Orekhovo-Zuevo, Novy Posad, Ekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Voronezh and Ivanovo attended the seminar.

During the Kobudo part, a deep analysis of the techniques of Bo, Nunchaku, Sai, Tekko and Tunfa at the primary and secondary levels was performed. The following topics were studied: Bo-no-Kihon 1-10, Bo-tai-Bo, Shushi-no-Kun (Sho), Sakugawa-no-Kun (Sho), Akamine-no-Nunchaku, Chatan-yara-no-Sai, Hama-Higa-no-Tunfa and Maezato-no-Tekko. On Sunday, Kobudo exams was held.
