Unfortunately, Tamayose Kaich\u00f4 could not be present this year, since he is involved in the organization and planning of the Kobud\u00f4 World Tournament in Okinawa taking place in the beginning of August. Therefore the instructor crew around Frank Pelny consisted of Sebastian Edelmann (Halle\/GER, 4th DAN), Hagen Walter (Jena\/GER, 3rd DAN) and Pierre Lorenz (Leipzig\/GER, 3rd DAN).<\/p>\n
The rather high temperatures did not impede everyone’s good mood. Everyone trained hard and industriously and managed to improve one or another technical detail.<\/p>\n
In the evenings everyone gathered to join in jovial get-togethers at the D\u00f4j\u00f4 of the Karate-Do-Kwai Nordhausen: on Friday the welcoming party took place, on Saturday we had a Say\u00f4nara-party. The assiduous helpers from the Karate club of Nordhausen did a great job in making everyone feel utterly comfortable.<\/p>\n
On Sunday the examinations for new belts took place: Vyacheslav Rogozin of Tomsk passed 1st DAN. In the colour-belt division (Ky\u00fb) the following examinations were passed: 2x 1st Ky\u00fb, 2x 2nd Ky\u00fb, 1x 3rd Ky\u00fb, 1x 4th Ky\u00fb, 1x 5th Ky\u00fb, 1x 6th Ky\u00fb.<\/p>\n
