After Tamayose Hidemi Sensei founded the \u201cRy\u016bky\u016b Kobud\u014d Tesshinkan Ky\u014d Kai\u201d association in 1999 and led it as president for 25 years, he now transferred the presidency of the Honbu-D\u014dj\u014d to his son Tamayose Tetsushi Shihan, who was also one of the founding members of the Tesshinkan -Association. Congratulations and good luck to Tamayose Tetsushi Kaich\u014d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tamayose Hidemi Sensei will continue to serve as an advisor to the president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On January 7, 2023, our master and association president Tamayose Hidemi was honored by Okinawa-Ken Karate-D\u00f4 Rengo Kai with the 10th DAN and the title of Hanshi in Karate-D\u00f4. The Okinawa-Ken Karate-D\u00f4 Rengo Ka is the umbrella organization of the four most important karate and kobud\u00f4 organizations on Okinawa and is subordinate to the prefectural government. A great honor and distinction!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Canadian friend Donald Shapland Kyoshi passed away on Sunday evening (June 19) after long illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shapland Sensei lived in Okinawa for many years, was a close friend of our master Tamayose Hidemi and a founding member of the Tesshinkan association. He brought the Tesshinkan Kobud\u00f4 to Canada and spent his whole life helping to spread the Ry\u00fbky\u00fb Kobud\u00f4 Tesshinkan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many of us train daily with the Kobud\u00f4 weapons he made. His heart burned for Tesshinkan.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please commemorate him and his work with a Kobud\u00f4 training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear members of our Tesshinkan family,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was with great sadness and consternation that I received the news today that our friend Fernando Ant\u00f4nio Bastos Neto from Brazil has succumbed to the Covid-19 virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fernando Sensei was 5th Dan Karate Sh\u00f4t\u00f4kan and 3rd Dan Karate G\u00f4j\u00fb-Ry\u00fb. In 2019 he organized the first Tesshinkan seminar in Brazil and thus in Latin America, to which he had invited me as a lecturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I got to know Fernando Sensei as a real martial arts master who worked with a lot of love and commitment to spread our art. He brought the Tesshinkan Kobud\u00f4 to Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His death is a great loss to the martial arts community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I bow to him and I will always remember him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please remember him for a moment too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please all stay healthy and never give up hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
