Once again, Sensei Vyacheslav Rogozin of the Gôjû-Ryû Federation Tomsk offered enthusiasts the opportunity to train directly with the technical director of the Tesshinkan Europe Frank Pelny of Germany.
55 enthusiasts from 6 different Dôjô (among them were Tomsk, Biysk, Anzhero-Sudzhensk, Yashkino, Kemerovo) jumped at the chance to train Ryûkyû Kobudô, Karate and self defense at one seminar.
The lessons took place from 9th to 11th October 2015 in the Dôjô of Arsenal Tomsk.
As an opener for the seminar Frank Pelny handed a certificate, issued by Tamayose Sensei approving of the 1st DAN in Tesshinkan, to Rogozin Sensei.
On Sunday morning the examinations started yielding 5 new yellow belts, 4 orange belts, 6 green belts and two brown belts in Tesshinkan. Additionaly three people passed SaCO-self defense examinations.
Thereupon the traditional Siberia-Cup in Kobudô was held. The Kata category was subdivided into male children and adults and an overall femal division. Of course, the category Bô-Bunkai was offered as well.
On 12th October Frank Pelny, additionally, taught a Shôtôkan-Karate seminar in Yashkino being 80km away from Tomsk. This seminar was organized by Sensei Pavel Naumov, the head of the Dôjô in Yashkino. 28 Karateka from Yashkino and Anzhero-Sudzhensk participated.
On Tuesday morning, 13th October, as early as 7 o'clock, the next training took place - a special Kobudô training for Rogozin Sensei lasting another two hours and given by Frank Pelny was the final lesson for this year's visit. Once more, a weapon could not bear up under the seminar and techniques by Frank Pelny - this time a Nunchaku came apart.
Thereopon both masters were invited by a class of nine-year-olds and answered many questions about martial arts, personal development and Germany.
Finally, Sensei Pelny and Rogozin were invited by the Poturaev-family. Following a rich meal, they made an utterly interesting excursion to the taiga.
The 10th seminar with Frank Pelny in Tomsk will be held from 14th to 16th October 2016.
